Full itinerary
  •  At 9.00 am, you are going to be picked up from your hotel to start a marvelous day first with a photo stop at a panoramic view point, then we drive to an underground city (could be Kaymaklı or Derinkuyu) where people used to take shelter in an emergency during the time of a war or siege or a similar threat around. Used for a long time in different periods, the underground cities in Cappadocia are quite big complexes.
  • With about an hour drive we get to Ihlara Valley formed with the help of volcano, wind and rain which had become a perfect hide-out in the early years of the Christianity. There are many churches carved into the rocks in this valley. Ihlara Valley was one of the main valleys where the Early Christians took shelter and carved rock churches along with Göreme Valley and Soğanlı Valley.
  • At the end of our walk in Ihlara Valley, we have lunch at one of the local restaurants over here by the river. Then we drive to rock-cut Selime Monastery with a cathedral inside.
  • On the way back to Göreme we are going to stop at Pigeon Valley for another great photo opportunity. We stop at Uçhisar Fortress from the bottom, maybe with some camels around, for our last photo stop just before we get back to Göreme.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cappadocia.
