Full itinerary
  • Early in the morning you are picked up from our hotel to hit the road to get to Gallipoli Peninsula which has become a turning point in the WW1 history.
  •  After 5 hours’ drive you arrive to Eceabat, a small town by the Dardanelles which connects the Aegean Sea to the Sea of Marmara and all the way up to Istanbul, once was the capital of the Ottoman Empire. Eceabat is going to be your stop for lunch.
  • Right after lunch, you are getting to the west of the peninsula to start our tour of Gallipoli Battlefields. Your first stop is going to be the Anzac Cove where the first Anzac troops landed on the 25th of April. You are going to learn a lot about the background of the battle, process, and the beginning. This is where Dawn Service is held every year on the same day. Up on the cliff, you can see the Sphinx. Arıburnu Cemetery is another stop where you see the words of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk about the soldiers who lost their lives here at Gallipoli and those words were also including a meaningful message for their mothers too.
  •  Lone Pine, getting the name from a lonesome pine tree that stood in the area in 1915, is one of the most known battlefields in the Anzac history which became the largest cemetery for the Anzac troops. Along the way you are going to see the original trenches from 1915 and some of the tunnels dug in under the trenches. Right across, Johnston’s Jolly Cemetery stands. You are going to have a stop at the 57th Infantry Regiment Turkish Cemetery to learn a little more about the Turkish side of the history and also the reason why it is called the Gentlemen’s War. Chunuk Bair was one of the targets of this campaign from the very first day. Indeed, it was captured, for a short moment by the New Zealander troops. This specific spot has some really interesting stories behind.
  • After all, you start driving back to Istanbul. And as soon as you get into the city, you are going to be dropped off at your hotel here
